The exact procedure of using the Wireless LAN varies on the configuration of the client’s hard- and software.

The Vivaldi Wireless LAN infrastructure consists of several Wireless Access Points.

They all broadcast an SSID named like VIVAP1 …

 

1. AUTOMATIC LINK

If Your computer automatically finds several access points, try to connect to the one with the best LINK quality . The link requires a 64 bit hex webkey. When prompted for the webkey, enter the webkey 1020304050 (10 digits)

2. MANUAL LINK

Depending on Your configuration, a second alternative method is by adding the Wireless LAN access point to your Preferred Wireless LAN

For windows xp configurations, go from pressing START button to LAN CONNECTIONS,  

Select the wireless LAN connections, click it with the right mouse button and select SHOW AVAILABLE WIRELESS LANS,

On the left, select PREFERRED WIRELESS LANS

In the panel of Wireless LANS, select the ADD button to add a new preferred WLAN;

Enter following data

Network name (SSID) VIVAP1 ( or other VIVA name )

Network verification  : Shared

DATA encryption WEP

WEP key : 1020304050

Confirm WEP key 1020304050

Uncheck the automatic key configuration button.
